Financial Aid Forms

In order to be considered for any federal aid, including federal loans, you must first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

You can complete required forms from your phone, tablet or computer and upload requested documents securely from any device, 24/7!

1. Log into your MyNCC portal
2. Select the tile that called "Financial"
3. Then choose, Verify My FAFSA

The first time you log in you will be asked to create an account. When confirming student information, the student’s name, date of birth and social security number you enter must match the information on your FAFSA exactly. You will then be brought directly to the list of items the Financial Aid Office needs you to complete.

Documents submitted for verification must be received by the college no later than 120 days after the student's last date of enrollment or September 1, which ever is the earlier.

  Forms marked with * must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office via email, in person, mail or fax. At this time they cannot be submitted through the "VerifyMyFAFSA" link.

  • Parent Refusal to complete the FAFSA

  To request a Dependency Override or a Family Contribution (Income Adjustment) Appeal, you must do so through "VerifyMyFAFSA" link. Note: Family Contribution Appeals are if your 2022 income will be drastically less than 2020 income reported on the FAFSA.

  SAP appeals must also be submitted through the VerifyMyFAFSA link.

  • APTS-NY State Aid for Part-time Study Grant 2024/2025 if enrolled in less than 12 credits.
  • Dependent student: submit parent's and your 2022 NYS tax return .
  • Independent student: submit your 2022 NYS tax return and, if married, your spouse's. Deadline to submit the completed application and SIGNED 2022 NYS Tax Return to the Financial Aid Office is October 4, 2024. You may fax all documents to 516.572.7642. Please make sure to have students NCC ID (N#) on all pages. There is a limit to the number of awards that may be given. Don't delay! Get your completed application and the required & signed 2022 tax returns submitted NOW!
